The Not-So Itsy Bitsy Spider

After Ike hit, I thought I lost some of the pictures taken of the aftermath. Thankfully, I have the photographic proof that a very rare, but deadly African Spider terrorized our home!!! We were totally grossed out by it's long legs. The smell of venom permeated our home. Eventually, we were able to corner the "Obama Spider"; however, unlike the nursery rhyme, this Itsy Bitsy spider went down the garbage disposal....and was never heard from again.

P.S. Our sink totally looks disgusting, but before you make fun, you should know that we were without power and food for 11 days. It was literally like we were in Africa...except no Sally Struthers!!!!
