The Big O!

After arriving in NYC in the late afternoon, we spent our first evening watching the newly resurrected Broadway play "All My Sons" starring Katie Holmes (Scream). Since this was opening week, we thought there would be a pretty good chance that we'd see Tom Cruise, so naturally we were pretty stoked!

OMG (Oprah, My God)!!!! Never in our wildest dreams. Miss Sofia from "The Color Purple." Are you kidding me??? We were literally just a few feet away from our hero, Oprah Winfrey. We felt the blood rush to our head. We didn't even mind that she gained all of her weight back!!! The photo quality was poor due to the mean ushers! Damn theater minions! But we can say with 100% certainty that Oprah cried during the performance.

We still can't believe that we met one of Chincho's inspirations (he really respects her business savvy). While some neighbors can only subscribe to "O Magazine," we can actually say we are close personal friends. Oh, and yes, we saw little Tom as well. God we miss New York. Who knew they were such fans of Chincho?

Next Up: Day 2 of our trip...we saw Harry Potter's "hairy potter". Nice!
