A few months ago Mike and I were feeling a little under the weather. Naturally, we consulted the advice of our favorite Nurse Practitioner, who also resides in the neighboring Salmon Cottage. She advised us to take this "all natural miracle cure all" called Airborne. She knew of "people" who swear by this stuff!

Imagine our surprise when we discovered that this little tablet is not a miracle cure all, but a fake!!! A scam!!!! A sneaky way to ensure Mike and I endure a slow painful death (Fortunately, we were both too lazy take this regularly).

According to reports, the makers of the herbal supplement Airborne must pay $23.3 million to settle a class-action lawsuit. The suit was brought against Airborne for false advertising. The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a non-profit advocacy group, said the company will refund money to those consumers who bought the Airborne product. The company will also pay for advertisements in major publications that will instruct consumers on how to receive their money refunded, according to the AP.

Above: Tina holds what we all assumed was a poorly carved pumpkin. Chincho is now convinced that it is the remains of a person who asked her for medical advice! Hey, who needs Dr. Kevorkian when there is Nurse Tina?

Thank you again Tina for your continued dedication to the medical profession. Do I hear Employee of the Month?
