The vote is in and CONGRATULATIONS to the "House of Sunshine" (AKA Yellow House) for their pumpkin portrayal of Tom Hanks in the movie "Forrest Gump." Simply astonishing. You were able to put a smile on the grumpy yuppie faces of Shady Acres!

Chincho's Critique: In this time of war and Britney, a Jack-O'-Lantern depiction of Forrest Gump is just what we (America) needed! A definite breath of fresh air! Original and inspiring!

Honorable Mention:

Good work Brown House! But the judge was confused with the additional props. Did your scary pumpkin stitch face have pumpkin babies?!?!?

Chincho's Critique: Original? Yes. But could this pumpkin stand the test of time? I think not!

Nice try Blue House, but this gem of a pumpkin was eerily similar to the House of Sunshine's depiction of Forrest Gump.

Chincho's Critique: Cheaters never win! Also, was the sandal a prop that belonged with the pumpkin??? Points were definitely deducted for your obvious carelessness.
